Where are amaï products made?
amaï ceramics are proud to be made by Vietnamese artisans. Besides, it is our pleasure to introduce the Maan collection designed by amaï and one hundred percent hand-maded in Thailand.
Does amaï have products with both sides glazed?
Our ceramics are aspired to keep their earth's soul and present the modest yet precious value of the gift from Mother Nature. Only the food serving surface of the amaï product is glazed and left the outer skin as it is.
Are amaï ceramics food safe?
All amaï ceramics have done the safety food test by Intertek, TUV which is required for the Japan and Europe markets.
Are amaï products fragile?
Our products are baked at 1280°C. This temperature strengthens the cohesion of clay particles and makes our dinnerwares more heat and force resistantin daily usage. However, like any other ceramics, our products are better handle with care.
What material are amaï ceramics made of?
Our ceramics are made of refined deep clay in Northern Delta and "kaolin".
Will my amaï items scratch?
Yes, the glazed surface may be scratched under the strong impact of the knife and fork. If you are concerned about scratching, we would recommend selecting lighter colors such as Cream, Light Blue, Dusty Pink, and Celadon,...
Can amaï products withstand high/low temperatures?
While our ceramics can be used to serve hot and cold food - beverages, we do not recommend using them in the oven or the freezer. We also advise you to refrain from moving ceramics items to extreme temperatures in a short period of time to avoid thermal shock which is a sudden temperature fluctuation causing stress that may easily break ceramics and glassware products. For example, e.g putting ice into a cup that previously serve hot drinks.
Can I use amaï products in the dishwasher and microwave?
amaï products are both dishwasher and microwave safe except the Indochine collection with 14k gold rim.
Order and Shiping:
Does amaï Saigon ship internationally?
Yes, we provide door-to-door shipment service by air within 12 working days and delivery insurance along with the consignment. However, the international shipping fee is quite high. An order from approximately 150.00 USD may earn an economic shipping rate. Kindly place an order, and we will come back with an estimated shipping fee for your consideration.
How do I pay for my order?
Bank transfer is our main payment method. Cash On Delivery (COD) is only available for HCMC's orders with a maximum order value of 1,000,000 VND.
How will amaï ceramics be shipped?
- Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: 1-2 days.
- Other regions of Vietnam: 3-5 working days.
- Internationally: within 12 working days.

Returns and Exchange:
My ceramics arrived broken/ missing, what should I do?
Any feedback, or complaints, kindly inform amaï within 48 hours since the package is successfully delivered. For claims of breakage/missing during shipping, amaï will handle the video of the unpacking process.
Can I change the color/size of my product?
Yes, amaï will support the exchange within 48hrs with a receipt.
